A private detective in 1930s Los Angeles is hired to follow a woman's husband. The case turns out to be about something else entirely.

A screenwriter hiding from debt collectors pulls into what looks like an abandoned mansion. The woman who lives there is Norma Desmond, a silent film star who stopped working in 1929 and hasn't really noticed.

Is it really free?
Yes. Drinks are available for a small charge at the door.
Do I need to sign up or reserve a seat?
No. Just show up. Doors open at 5:45.
Are the foreign language films subtitled?
Yes, always in English. Films shown in partnership with a language department will also have subtitles in that language.
Can I come late?
The film starts at 6pm sharp. You can come in after it starts but we'd rather you didn't.
